Objective: As part of Benjwelo Theatricals’ R.E.D. Hat Fight Club social media campaign, my role was to serve as a sounding board for new ideas, a discerning marketing lens, and a fresh perspective for their existing content. The objective was to build a comprehensive content calendar and strategy for social media platforms, primarily Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok. The focus was on raising awareness about R.E.D. Hat Fight Club and driving ticket sales for the event.

Approach:

  1. Content Calendar and Strategy: I worked closely with the team to build out a robust content calendar and strategy for their social media platforms. The calendar outlined the frequency and type of content to be shared, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence across all channels. The strategy incorporated compelling visuals, captivating storytelling, and calls-to-action to raise awareness and generate ticket sales.

  2. Relevant Hashtag List: To increase impressions and reach a wider social audience, I created a relevant hashtag list specifically tailored to their social posts. These hashtags were carefully selected to align with their brand, industry, and target audience, maximizing exposure and engagement.

  3. Weekly Review and Optimization: I provided a weekly review of the social posts, analyzing their performance and engagement metrics. This review helped assess the effectiveness of the content strategy and identified areas for improvement. Based on the insights gathered, I suggested changes and optimizations to the strategy for the upcoming week, ensuring continuous refinement and better results.

  4. Trending Audio/Topics: To stay on top of social media trends and maximize reach, I curated a list of trending audio clips and topics. This enabled Benjwelo Theatricals to create timely and relevant content that rode the wave of popular trends on platforms like Instagram and TikTok. By capitalizing on trending trains, their social posts reached a wider audience and increased engagement.

    • 6,997 accounts reached

  • Accounts engaged: up +66.4%

    • 313 accounts engaged

  • 4.47% engagement rate on average

  • Follower growth: up 3.5% 

Results: Through the implementation of a comprehensive content calendar, relevant hashtags, weekly performance reviews, and leveraging trending audio/topics, R.E.D. Hat Fight Club’s social media campaign increased awareness and ticket sales. The campaign fostered an engaging online community, established Benjwelo Theatricals as a prominent presence in their industry, and drove conversions for their event.
